I went vets yesterday and one of my chins has ear fungus, she gave me some spray and told me to put it on some cotton wool and apply to ears. Only problem he doesn't like to be picked up and doesn't stay still. Any ideas to how do this and to keep stressing him to a minimum???

have you tried burritoing him? im not sure excacly how its done but i think you just get a towel or blanket and wrap it around him to where he cant move his legs.

Yup, making a chin burrito may be your best bet. Put a towel down and when he hops onto it, wrap it completely around him, and scoop him up, holding snugly. Fold in the end, too, so he cannot wriggle out backwards. While he's in there, take a moment or two to make nice calming noises, and stroke him right through the towel, to calm him down as much as possible.

Then with your other hand, uncover one ear at a time, and apply the meds. Unless you have a second person, you'll need to get everything ready ahead, as you just have one arm free for stuff like opening bottles, etc.
