Now that the afternoons/evenings are finally nice, I can crack open the window and let a nice breeze go through the room for a bit. The hogs seem to love it, and will sometimes pop their head out of their bags and sniff.
I don't leave the blinds open during the day since we're on the side that gets all the afternoon sun which equals a very hot (ie: 33*C) room, so I open them in the evening when the sun is just starting to set, but it's still bright out. We tried opening the blinds during the day once, and it was just got way too warm.
I vacuum, dust and wipe down the cage bars at least weekly. Interior cages get cleaned and sterilized as needed, but usually at least once or twice a week, depending on the hog.
we have a hard wood floor? lol i cleaned my house compelet besides dusting.
