How red is too red??

So I've noticed my chinchilla Kai's ears are always red. Is this just his normal coloring or is he getting too hot? I keep my apt at 70 degrees and he has a chinchiller that he never uses. I'll include some pics of him:

Okay so it's normal for their inner ear to be red? I couldn't find any photos to compare to online of their inner ear.

I also might just be fussing for no reason. I am a worry wart.

If they are always the same color and the ears don't feel hot to the touch it's probably normal. From the photos they don't look that red to me here is an example I found online of a grey that is overheating and here is another site that has examples of chins and other signs to look for.
 
Yeah I do give him extensive play time and he tends to bounce off the walls so that could be it as well

Oh wow ok yes those are way more intense in the coloring. Okay I wasn't sure if the tint of red was a bad thing but I've never seen his ears get like that. Thank you for the references!
