how long does quilling last?

i can tell it hurts him. and i feel so bad. but it seems like he is just in a constant stage of quilling. he was born march 5th 2010. so i know he is still a baby. but he seriously has been quilling for what seems like forever and he is SO grouchy and irritable. can someone tell me how long this will take? i just want him to be over it so i can have my loulou back. it sucks. he like hates life right now lolillowfight:

It all depends on the individual hedgehog. Sometimes it's over quickly in a week or two and sometimes it can last a month or two. Sorry, can't be much more help other than to give him nice warm soothing oatmeal baths every couple of days. Poor little guy.
