How long does it take for a fur chewer's hair to grow back in?

Ever since I have split up Bryson and Ande, Bryson's chewed spots have begun to grow back in. The parts that were grey and chewed short are now becoming longer with white tips kinda like he slipped the chewed parts out and now new hair is growing back. Is that correct?

I'm not really sure when I should start seeing results in his fur, but he seems to be doing better by his self.

I've been told it takes about one full year for chins' fur to completely grow back in.

If you pluck the chewed fur, it takes about four to six weeks. If you wait for the chewed fur to shed out naturally so new fur can take its place, it'll take a lot longer.
