How high to put a chin wheel

Hey all

Do I have to keep the chin wheel close to the bottom of the cage, it takes up floor space would I be able to put it about half way up the cage or is this dangerous??

Depends on the type of wheel. I personally prefer to keep Chin Spin drum-type wheels about 10cm off the floor. I have some Flying Saucers that are about 20cm off the floor. Accommodate for "special" chins who may be either extra nutty and scare easily or who may not be the most coordinated as their wheels should be closer to the bottom to reduce chances of injury.
