how fast a wheel gets dirty

Loki has only been awake for 2 hrs and the wheel and tray were spotless to start with.

They are messy little critters. I put paper towels in my litter tray.

Sonic has sometimes his wheel dirty within a few hours. unlike last night he didnt run in it much cause it just had pee residue on it and he pooped on his flannel cloth under his wheel. Sprinkles wheel is not too dirty I think. maybe cause it is really easy to clean since it is a CSBW

Yes, hedgies are little poop factories for sure. Mine pooped mostly on their wheels.

Yea wheels generally get washed twice a day. Before bed after they've run in it awhile and then before they get up to run in it again.

I wash mine every morning. and they get their cage spot cleaned as well.
