How do I know if my hedgie (cinnamon) has dry skin?

I recently got a hedgehog and she has been itching and her skin seems dry. The people I got her from used pine bedding but I now use fleece. Any help?

You'll want to take a look at the skin on her back... under her quills to check for dry skin. To see, you'll pet her "backwards." Go from tail end toward her head, gently lifting the quils so that you can see down to her skin. If it looks white and flakey, that's dry skin. It's pretty bad dry skin if she leaves flakes behind when you pick her up, play with her, etc...
