I just ordered one of these air purifiers for my chin room.Between 6 chins blowing their coats and their dust baths, I'm hoping it will help some with my asthma.Anyone else use/have any input on this particular Honeywell? My room is very small approx 10x10.

I believe I have the exact same air filter. It has done wonders for my allergies/asthma. Every time I change the pre-filter, there is at least an inch of fur collected on it (ick.) I do still sneeze a bit when I give baths, but I just crank the air purifier up and I'm ok again within an hour or so. The room that it is in is actually quite a bit larger, too.

Oooo, a long time ago. It wasn't very quiet at the time. They were ok, filters were very expensive and not fun to replace. Not easy to vacuum or clean.

I'm el-cheapo now, I order 10x20 air filters and strap them to a 20x20" box fan, my a/c units... etc. :p Far easier to keep clean and I can really turn up the velocity when I'm out of the room or the dust is flying.

Edited to say I also vacuum ~1/2" of fur off weekly. I have a Hunter 20x20", the box fan, and an a/c unit running in a 12 x 12 room.
