Glad to hear you are home. Sorry about the incision. I know that sucks, but just really take it easy. I felt great at about 10 days and I pulled some stitches. It actually hurt worse than when I came home from the hospital. Once you start feeling good, just remember those tissues are all still very easily injured. Oh, and keep an eye out for UTIs. I wasn't worried when I had my surgery as I had never had one before. Well, got one and it took 6 weeks to get rid of it. So keep an eye out for that. Other wise, put your feet up and catch up on reading, and just take it easy for a few weeks.

Stewart is taking great care of me! He's cooked all my meals and cleaned the chins cages today woot! I'm feeling pretty bloated and sore but that's to be expected. I don't think I got up and moved around enough today so that's my game plan for tomorrow. Thanks for all the well wishes!

Really Laurie, as Sandi said, don't over do it. I had c-sections and when I'd feel pretty good I'd do laundry and some housework and I'd be so achey and sore when I went to bed I couldn't fall asleep. The incision would be SCREAMING!!! Take it slow. But I'm glad you got rid of that uterus. When they begin to misbehave like that they have to go. Relax and rest up. Tell Stewart I am proud of him.

Just let everyone take care of you and watch some of your crazy TV shows for a few weeks. Maybe there are some Elvis biographies out there you haven't read yet?
