Hi There!
My name is Marissa and I'm a college student at CU Boulder. I adopted my chinchilla about 2 weeks ago so I'm really new to being a chinchilla parent and would love advice! I've had most other types of rodents and I have also had fish, cats, dogs, etc.
I decided to adopt a chinchilla because I've wanted one for my whole life and finally had the opportunity and funds to do so.
My chinchilla is Yoda and he is about 2 months old I'm guessing. He is dark standard gray and so very social and happy! I was nervous he would take a long time to warm up to me but it only took him a few days. His new cage probably contributed to his new energy and happiness!
I'm so happy to be part of CnH to learn more about my new friend!
