Hi Everyone!

I actually have had chinchillas for a while now. A couple years ago after extensive research, I decided to get a breeding trio: a standard male, mosaic female and an extra dark ebony female. Hopefully sometime in the future I will be able to expand but for now my 3 chins are great!!

Yes I have had 3 kits since I gotten these guys! They really are the cutest little things!

Unfortunately, I noticed something was wrong with my male the other day. Boomer is usually super shy and hyper but he was being overly friendly and wanting treats (really unlike him. he usually ignores me when I give treats to the females) When I got him out (which was why easier than usual) I knew he lost weight. I separated him and I am pretty sure he has malo...
He has an appoint with the vet tomorrow...hoping we can treat it
(I do know that if it is malo, he won't be able to go back with his girls)
