I've posted a few times but never formally introduced myself and my little guy. My name is Robyn, my new little chin who is approximately 4 months old is named Sketch. My husband and I are totally new to owning Chinchillas and so far we are loving it! I have always been a dog and reptile kind of gal (currently own 2 dogs and 1 ball python, recently lost my beloved crested gecko). My husband actually raised two squirrels as a kid that he found in a nest in a cut down tree so he was pretty excited about the chinchilla lol!
I just love Sketch more than I could have imagined. I am happy just sitting and watching him move around his cage or during playtime in the bathroom and I'm really enjoying slowly working to build his trust and our bond. I'm so thankful for finding this forum!!
