Hi! My name is Stephanie and I have been lurking on this site for a few days now and decided to join

I'm going to college in MA so I'm in an apartment and I wanted a pet that could handle the small living space. I discovered hedgies and find them completely amazing!
I've been researching online for the past month or so about hedgehogs and I finally get to pick up a baby hedgehog on Thursday.
I already have a cage set up, large plastic wheel, bedding, water bottle, food bowl, hiding spot, etc. all set up for her. Now all I have to do is decide on a name..
Also, do you have any suggestions on where to purchase fleece liners? I'm going to start out with some aspen shaving bedding for a bit until I can litter train her then I will move to liners. I know Nancy is great, but according to her website she is ill and I don't know if I'd be able to get liners for a while. I know that they are relatively simple to make but I just wondered if you guys knew anyone who made quality custom ones? My cage is kind of a strange size: 40" x 18". Thanks for any advice, can't wait to have my baby hedgie.
