i have noticed that bounce has been grinding his teeth for about 2-3 days now. i am concerned and he is going to the vet on thursday (because it's the soonest they can do a full mouth exam).
he has been wanting to chew on things, but he wont touch the wood that is already in his cage.
he has hay right now but tomorrow i am getting new chew toys for him.

do you think that if i give him some chewing blocks and toys, he will be okay until Thursday?

i just lost one of my two chins yesterday, and i really want bounce to be healthy.

is the vet you are going to an exotics vet? is he eating anything? is he pooping?? he is grinding his teeth most likely because he is in pain.............possibly from the same thing his brother died from. is his stomach soft & sorta squishy or is it rock hard??
honestly with these pets, the quicker you get them to the vet the better chance at them surviving.

thank you.
and yes, she is an exotic vet.
and today i went on a chinchilla shopping spree. i bought him woods to chew on, i changed his diet, and i bought him a pumice stone. hopefully he is alright!
and yes he is eating, drinking, pooping, peeing.

my chikn grinds his teeth somtimes. at first he did it alot so i brought him to the vet. he was doing it because he was uncomfortable my guess is he is grinding cuz he is so upset you other chin died BUT it is better to be safe than sorry
