My babies Rock!
I just got my mother in law's snakes moved in and settled. Of the 4, I've already decided to call the female Royal Python/Ball Python Nefertiti. She's really shy, a little underweight, and kind of stressed, so she needs a name that will lend her grace and strength.
Then there's a male Ball/Royal Python that I'm thinking of calling Goober or Mr. Peanut, or maybe Skippy or Jiff b/c he has a peanut shell shaped mark about midway down his back. Another option is Spock for the 'alien head' shapes on his sides. (I'll try to get pictures of these markings tomorrow. It's pretty wild.)
But then come the corn snakes. They're both candy cane phase, which means most of their bodies are white, and the inside of their saddles (spots) are white, but the outlines are a tomato soup color. I'd thought of Bread and Fritter (since they're "corn" snakes), and also Flicker and Flame. Then I thought of a traditionally "southern" name, i.e. Billy Bob and Betty Jo or something from Hee-Haw/The Beverly Hillbillies/My Name is Earl, and then I said to heck with it and decided to ask for some outside input.
