hi...
i recently got myself a chinchilla from a home breeder, and he initially had some eye infection but i tot he's worth it since he appeared very tame and healthy besides the eye.
so i sent him to a vet. i've been treating anti-biotics and eye drops and abt 8 days have past, and just when I tot he's getting better and his appetite is up (he's actually quite greedy), i found a lump under his chin towards the his left, on his neck.
kinda shocked me. he was all along very quiet and non-responsive but do not mind being carried around and seemed comfortable with human touch. in fact he seemed too tame but very "motionless" like he hardly moves.
I thought it may be because of his new home so he was shy yet not unfamiliar with human touch.
but now i see this lump. :cry3:
any help?
could it be a tumor?
what would it costs to remove it and how long is the recovery process?
any hints as to what to do during his recovery phase?
thanks all!
