I have the same issue now with the guy friends. I have a really great guy friend who I would probably say is my best friend. I would do just about anything for him. They ended up talking and hashing things out a bit and now they are OK. Not great but ok. Hubby doesn't want me to talk to him about our issues and hates that we switch off paying for meals. Don't give up your friends, be them guy or girl, to make your fiance happy.

As far as the wedding dress. Maybe trying them on may not be the greatest feeling in the world for you, but like essentia said, it is amazing what a wedding dress can do and when you find the one, you will know and it will be perfect.

Lastly, we had a friend who passed away two months before our wedding so it was really hard not to have him there with us. We set up a table for the people who couldn't be with us. My Nana, Brad, Ben, and anyone else who would be there in spirit. People actually started buying drinks for the people who would be there in spirit. It was really nice.

Surprisingly enough I loved trying on gowns. David's Bridal (where my gown came from) and Alfred Angelo are your friends. Fairly reasonable prices and gowns to try on all the way up to a size 28/30. The only places I hated were the boutique stores. They only carried up to a size 14 to try on and tried to force me into them. It was so humiliating. Plus their prices were outrageous and they had a tendency to put you in $1800 gowns even after you told them your price limit was $600.
