I have been lurking on the forum reading all the info on chinchillas and I thought I have better join and introduce myself.

I do not have a chinchilla yet but I am planning on getting one soon. I am currently living in rented accommodation but have just bought my first house. This of course means that I can finally have a chinchilla without the landlord telling me off.

I am looking at cages right now and I have a couple in mind. I have also located a breeder that is local to me. I have found this forum really informative and I hope you won't mind another newbie joining and occasionally asking for advice!

Thank you all for the warm welcome I will share pictures etc of the set up once I get a cage. I am currently looking at a Savic Royal Suite 95 and modifying the plastic bases to metal ones. I wish I lived in the US as you guys seem to have better cage choices over there!
