Hello, my name is Keira and I just got my first chinchilla last weekend. Her name is Anari. A friend had her for 2 1/2 years and decided she didn't have time for her. Its a big change for her. She left a quiet home for one with kids. So she is still shy and hides in her home mostly. She is starting to let me pet her which I do hope is a big step. No pics yet, but I hope very soon to have tons. She is usually only out long enough to zip to her dust bath bowl and right back up to her house.
