Hey everyone! My name is Chelsea and I've always browsed this site, but I have never introduced myself. I am a student studying zoology/journalism, I work with wildlife, and I hope to become an animal t.v. presenter. I currently have 6 chinchillas and I am absolutely crazy about all of them! Here are pictures of the bunch!

Hello and Welcome Chelsea! I have a princess Solange myself so know all about owning a Princess LOL! What a beautiful bunch of chinnies!

Hi Chelsea and welcome! I'm so glad you decided to formally join us! Your chins are absolutely adorable and I love their names. How did you come about naming them? I will be your sidekick on tv. I can't get enough of animals and wish I had schooled in something that way when I was younger! Now I just sneak animals into the house to see if my hubby notices! LOL. Good luck!

Hi Chelsea and :welcomewagon: to the forum!!!
Your chinnies are adorable!
Princess Sophia really looks like a princess!

Hey Jenn! Thank you for making me feel welcomed! Well, i'm partly Argentinian so I was thinking about South American names... Cusco is a place in Peru, and so is Lima and Machu(Picchu)...Chaco is a place in Argentina... and Nulpi is a word that means "white flower" from the earliest people of Argentina, and finally princess Sophia..is just a prnicess so the name suited her..lol!!! I would love for you to be my sidekick!! Right now I do educational presentations for kids because I think its so important to learn about animals at a young age when they are constantly taking in information..and i certainly make sure that I teach them about chinchillas!!!!

Again, I think the names are great! I also believe that teaching kids about the importance of animals and how we need to protect them and their environments is a must. I have two boys that have been surrounded by animals all their lives, because I believe that animals really do enrich our lives. So I definitely think it is great what you are doing and I really hope you can continue doing what you love.

Hi Chelsea, your chinnies are all gorgeous, even the little avatar by your name! :)) Welcome to the forum! At my girls' schools, they hold assemblies for the kids that complete all of their assignments on time and behave well in school and at these assemblies are presenters who bring in all sorts of different types of animals and my daughter's always talk about them so, yes, you are definetly leaving a wonderful impression on children. I'm part Ecuadorean and recognized most of your chinnies names, very unique and beautiful I might add.

Hey you, I hope you don't mind I stole Picchu's picture from FB and used it as my avatar. It's just too cute! (for those reading this, Chelsea sold me my first chinnie). I finally get to see your white mosaic! He's beautiful! And Sophia is just a cutie :hug2:

Btw, I saw on one of your FB statuses that you're going to be on SG again! I'm totally going to watch it then. If you're handling the animals again, try to stick your hand from underneath the boxes or curtains and wave so we can see you!
