Hi CnH people!!!

I'm Samantha and I'm 23 and the current mom of 2 bunnies and 3 chins. I plan on moving to Portland Oregon this summer where I will be having a house built. From there, I'll be working on a chocolate and beige violet program.

I'll be rescuing hedgies. I don't think I want to breed them; though it would be enjoyable.

I'll also be breeding rabbits, but that's not for this forum.


I"m not very knowledgeable about chins when it comes to breeding. But I ask a lot of questions and am always interested in learning!

Good luck on the chocolates. They are pretty much nonexistent. The most you can hope to achieve is a dark tan. One thing I would strongly recommend is having a lot of really exceptional standards if you plan to focus on mutations, especially violets. If you don't have good standards as the backbone of your herd, you're not going to get very far quality wise.

Good luck with that move too. I moved from Ohio to South Dakota with a bazillion animals, and oye, it was a pain in the tuckus.

Oh I know, Jenn! I've been quite a few times. I love Eugene, but I need an easier climate. Plus, my terminal will be in Portland.
