My girl loves it when I stuff them with hay with a sprinkle of crushed rose hips. She won't have anything to do with the plain cholla afterwards though, so I just reuse the same 2 or 3 that I have. Don't know if this is normal, however.

Marble can go through about one a week. ZZ's lasts for a month or more. It just depends on how big of a chewer your chinchilla is and if they like it or not.
