I'd like to see lots of pictures of how you all hang your hammocks in your cages. I tried using chain attached to clips, then clipping it to the cage, but I just felt like it wasn't "sturdy" enough and may injure one of them if the didn't get their footing just right and it slipped away from them (turned out to be more of a swing). It's out of the cage until I figure out something better.
Thanks!

I don't have any pictures but my hammocks came with rings through the grommets at each corner. I put lanyard clips through the rings and hooked them directly to the top of the cage. Because the 'connection' is so short, there is not much swing to them. I would think adding a chain would give them a little too much swing. My chinnie girls have no problem getting in and out of their hammocks. There is a shelf within inches of the hammock on either side.

My wife made one with four corners. It is double-ply fleece on the bottom and single ply for the roof. Three of the corners have all three plys held together with a grommet and attached with one of those things that look like a link of chain that screws closed. The fourth corner is made so that the "side" can be disconnected from the top (separate grommets) so we can clean it out easy and is hanging with a "S" hook. Here is a photo that kinda shows it if you zoom in to the top left corner. If you want close-ups of the corners or something, let me know.

I have grommets in each corner and use a split ring or 0-ring and attach a lanyard hook to that. I've also seen people using shower curtain metal hooks.

Thanks everyone! I took the chains off and just attached O-rings to the grommets and used lanyard hooks to attach to the cage. Much better and they love it!
