Does anyone know if Hackberry is chin safe? According to everything I've found it is. No pits, but in the fruit family. It was thought to be in the elm family but genetically it's more related to cannabis... Talk about happy chins... Either way I'm processing wood and have a half of one in my driveway thanks to the storm...

Good, I didn't think to look at bird lists. It's in the fruit family of trees similar to the magnolia and mulberry which are all safe, and generally it's if it's a fruit tree, without pits, it's safe. Making it safe, but I didn't know if anyone had any other information otherwise. I guess I'll probably "hack" it up then! :p
