I think I have spoiled chi chi too much. LOL. Not only does the get TONS of petting and outside play time 1 to 2 times a day and treats and toys. She still wants more. Last night she wanted a treat. She already has had her treat for the day 1 shredded wheat mini square. I was sitting on my bed watching TV and every time I made a small movement she would jump up on her ledge that I give her treats on. When she realized it was a false alarm she would go back and go to sleep. I would move again and she'd jump up on her treat ledge. She did this about 8 times. a few times I moved on purpose cuz I thought it was funny. LOL. I did feel a little guilty with her giving me those PLEASE JUST ONE MORE eyes you could swear I never given her any attention with those eyes LOL

that is why i only give 1/2 a shredded wheat at night. that way if i get the cute begging eyes & paws on the cage, i can give in with a few oats or a 1/2 cheerio. ;)

I'm a sucker for those eyes. I've started giving Shell hay or a chew when she looks at me like that. If I give her hay from my hand she looks at it like a treat.

hahaha they really do have us wrapped around their paws don't they? :D

I give lots and lots of apple twigs, that helps me not feel so qulity when I get those eyes

I hear ya!!! Annie and Gabbie's treats are kept in the closet next to their cage. So naturally, whenever someone opens the closet door, they assume someone is getting out the treat box! And then the "dance" of "Gimme a goody" begins, with all kinds of jumping up and down, and pawing, and pitiful looks, that ultimately ends with both of them standing squished up together in the corner, both of them on their hind legs, staring at me. I can never resist, and they know it. Darn it, they have me wrapped around their paws for sure!

Dude is not quite as greedy, but then again, his cage is not near the "treat closet", so he hasn't been conditioned to know where the goodies are kept, lol!
