growth between hind legs on newborn chin

anybody have seen this before the kit is 2 days old seems ok other than this how concerned should i be?

That is bizarre. Does it poo/pee normally? Looks like a hernia or distended abdomen to me.

Are you talking about the lump of fur Tara? Cuz I see that, but still not clearly enough to say for sure what it might be.

Umbilical hernias are quite common, aren't they?

They are, but if I am seeing that correctly then it looks like a huge lump on the abdomen. Is that what you are trying to show?

A hernia is just any prolapse of the internal walls, which it may be. It also may be it was twinned and the twin is hanging out in there... who knows.

But I do see the lump.

It really doesn't matter what it is so long as the kit eats/poops. If it doesn't, I'd have it put down. I have had them born without genitals before, and that sucks.
