Grooming?

Well my lil guy is pretty clean
But I was wondering if there was anything I could do to make him look even more stunning?
like brushing him or something?

Also, I heard you can teach them tricks.
Is there any recommendations on how to do simple things?

By "simple" i mean easy. Just to start with at first.

As far as cleaning, all they really need is a dust bath. You can buy special brushes for them too, but unless you are showing them you don't have to do this.

Tricks though...I don't think I have ever seen a chinchilla do a trick.

That was great! I had never seen that before. I love the high-five. I can't imagine any of my chins having the patience to learn that though. lol.

I don't have a comb or brush, b/c I don't want to put my boys through an unfamiliar grooming "trauma", haha. But, when they prime, I help them by gently removing the loose hair that's not working it's way out on it's own. Osker really likes this, I think it is a relief for him.
