Did anyone watch it last night? I really haven't kept up with it this season since I'm really the only fan of the show in my house, but I watched it last night as my husband slept. No fighting over channels! I think the story lines are always pretty good, but what a climax at the end of the show! Do you think Meredith will make it? It was so sad, she gets her memory back, hugs hubby, and heart fails...And then to find out the man dragged by the bus was George! OMG! Any predictions for next season??? I mean, they really can't die on us, can they?

I watched............and I have my fiance' hooked. I hate cliffhangers!! I think Izzie may make it but I don't think george will. My only reasoning behind that is that Izzie was still on the elevator but George wasnt. Did i mention i hate cliffhangers!!

oops, I said Meredith when I meant Izzie! I also hate cliffhangers. George was waiting to get on the elevator, though. Will he get on??? I don't want to see either character leave, although Katherine Heigl (did I get her name right?) has been busy with movies of late. Maybe she is moving on?

George is definately off the show. He's been wanting to leave for awhile. They announced he was leaving the show, so I'm almost 100% positive that was it for him.

There are rumors that Izzy was going to be killed off, but I saw an interview where she said she wanted to stay.

I definately think George is gone, Izzy never got off the elevator with George at the end so I do think there is a big possibility that she will be on the next season. Coz I believe George was already dead and waiting for her, and you can tell she was like stuck in the elevator, unsure. So it was like - will she get off or not!?

I cried my eyes out though when I found out it was George. So intense!!!!

thats how i took it sasha.....and when they tried to revive her it was like she was looking up, sorta coming back to life.

Yep, I figured the same thing. I missed the first part of the second half, so I got to watch the ending twice and that's how I perceived it.

Yah it was a really great show last night, but I thought it was Izzy that was to be killed off the show because she wanted to concentrate on movies? George was a surprise to be me, well cant wait for the next season.....

just watched it, it was the SADDEST thing, ever! GEORGE! i knew he was leaving
the show, but I didn't think they would do that to him :( but yeah I also heard that
even katherine heigl doesnt even know if shes dying or not, it depends on what
the writers do, she doesnt know until the script comes. but we will see, I hope she stays cause I don't think I can handle two major deaths!

Poor George! When he finally communicated to Meredith and she understood who he was, it was so heartbreaking! What an end...

I can understand if Katherine Heigl wants to leave, her movies are great, but I'm hoping she stays with the show. I enjoy her character and I agree, losing two "friends" is a bit much. I'm thinking the writers wouldn't be that heartless to do that to us!

I had to work last nite so I watched it today and cried for about 10 min after it was over...I knew they would know him but I hadn't noticed George was missing for the last 30min...very smooth on the writer's part. Ugh so sad. Watching Kirev cry while they worked on her was so sad. I think she will come back...Ugh between this one and the cliffhanger on Private Practice, my nerves are shot.

Sasha - Oh wow I thought about Violet laying on the floor with that psycho for two days!!! (PP) I think what's his name will find her - the one she picked..? (He was getting on his motorcycle/leaving when he talked to sheldon) and save her, but I think she will have already taken the baby...

Kristy - There was no official wedding. Just couldn't fit it into their busy schedule so they came up with wedding vows printed on a post-it and that was good enough for them for now.

It's a show worth watching, so you have to see a rerun or watch it on the web!!!

Yeah when the guy came to the house (the pediatrician), and then left I was like NOOO DONT GO! VIOLET NEEDS YOU!

But yes I think that's the babys daddy too (the holistic doc), and he'll find her. So intense though.

The writers for both private practice and greys make my hands sweat, I get so nervous! And then I noticeI'm holding my breathe! lol!

OMG! I finally got to watch it today and I have to give the writers credit. I can usually figure out what they're going to do to me, and I'd heard about TR Knight leaving, but I thought the enlistment thing would be it, maybe he'd do a cameo after he "got out of basic" or something.... but I *NEVER* saw that coming. I felt like I got hit by a bus! (Ha ha, bad joke, I know.)

As for Izzy... I hope she makes it. She's sort of the glue that holds it all together, say whatever you like about Meredith 'adopting' people through the years. She's the most maternal of the group, and unless they suddenly get Miranda or Little Grey into the house with the residents, that's kind of a vital element of the clique to take away. But, Heigel has to do what she thinks is best for her career. I just wonder, if she does pass away, what the writers are going to do with those frozen fertilized eggs they dropped into cryo before Izzy started chemo. Karev with a baby? Might be interesting to see him trying to be a Mr. Mom and hot dog surgical resident all at once.

As for Private Practice... holy hannah! :hair: I actually felt a little sick watching that finale, but I love that the writers gave Violet the courage to say "No, don't do that, you'll hurt the baby. Measure 2 fingers up...". That, to me, was proof of the character's intentions to be a good mother. Like the parable of the women who claimed the single infant, the child's true mother couldn't stand to see the baby come to harm, even if it meant she didn't get to keep him. It redeemed Violet to me, a bit, for being so wishy-washy earlier in the season.
