Got my life line today.

I got my life line today from chocolate chinchillas.com. .... Gizmo has been on antibiotics and a probiotic for close to two months now bc of parasite, infections, bacteria etc. BUt hes better :hug2: and tomorrow is his last day of the meds! ..So what im asking is , is it safe to give the lifeline to him tomorrow since the meds will still be in his system or should I wait a week or so? The probiotic that he is on now is benebac, so im not sure if I can mix them or not... any sugesstions? Thanks.

You can use the Life Line at any time, it won't react to the drugs in any way. It is best to give it during the time that chins are on antibiotics because it will help to soothe the intestines and keep absorption of nutrients at a higher level than without it. The Life Line already has some probiotic in it, so you probably won't have to mix it with the benebac. If you were to mix it with probiotic, it would probably be easier to mix it with the powder from a human probiotic supplement like Primadophilus or PB8.

I agree. I think it's clear to say my boys love it just loose and not in a paste.

I just put it in a bowl and they eat what they want.

awww, cute boys! I just gave it to him loose. He gave it some interest so i tried making a paste, got it way too runny but thought ah what the heck...gave him to it on a spoon and he lapped up the whole spoon like a dog LOL. Love him!
