[i call him bubba ] he is such a sweetie, he rested in my arms all cute and cuddly the whole time we were shopping at petsmart [we had his box there for if he got too excited] but he was nice and calm. but now that he's home he's a crazy hyper maniac =] it's the best. here are some pics!

He's a cute little chubber, isn't he? I love beiges and how can you go wrong with ear freckles?

You'll want to be careful of the rat/chin interaction. Rats can be quick to bite and chins are quick to lose toes. I know, sounds gross doesn't it? But, it's true. Then they bleed like crazy and it will scare the heck out of you. I don't let any of my caged species intermingle, rats, guinea pig, ferrets, degu, bunny, or chins.

First of all, congrats on the new chin! He is cute!

Is that green thing a plastic tube? You might consider taking that out. I have seen them in the pet stores...they can be easily chewed and cause a blockage. The cardboard chubes are safer (unless they eat a whole lot if it at once). Just a thought!

He is adorable! Are you sure the table in the second picture is large and sturdy enough to hold his cage? I don't want him to get hurt in a fall when he is bounding around in there.
