conquistador! [i call him bubba :D] he is such a sweetie, he rested in my arms all cute and cuddly the whole time we were shopping at petsmart [we had his box there for if he got too excited] but he was nice and calm. but now that he's home he's a crazy hyper maniac =] it's the best. here are some pics!

He's a cute little chubber, isn't he? I love beiges and how can you go wrong with ear freckles? :)

You'll want to be careful of the rat/chin interaction. Rats can be quick to bite and chins are quick to lose toes. I know, sounds gross doesn't it? But, it's true. Then they bleed like crazy and it will scare the heck out of you. I don't let any of my caged species intermingle, rats, guinea pig, ferrets, degu, bunny, or chins.

First of all, congrats on the new chin! He is cute!

Is that green thing a plastic tube? You might consider taking that out. I have seen them in the pet stores...they can be easily chewed and cause a blockage. The cardboard chubes are safer (unless they eat a whole lot if it at once). Just a thought!

Have fun with Bubba!

ahhh how adorable!

congrats!

and i have that housey too, it lasts a good while-minus a few of the shutters lol. and mine loves to pop the top off every morning. so much fun!

He is adorable! Are you sure the table in the second picture is large and sturdy enough to hold his cage? I don't want him to get hurt in a fall when he is bounding around in there.
