Check out the googlie eyes Handbag is giving Mudslide the dog. Handbag looks crazed lol.

Surprisingly they spend a lot of time hanging out together (Handbag inside the cage, Mudslide outside the cage) sniffing one another. I hope to get one of their kisses on camera in the future.

Take a flashlight and shine it near her and look at her eyes when it is dark in the room...all chins have slightly freaky, glowing eyes sometimes.

She's so fluffy cute...and so is Mudslide.

Is that like a cat's tapetum? I guess chins have one, I do see eyeshine in my chin pics I guess I never really registered it in my head. A lot of animals do so I probably just got used to seeing it.

I just googled chinchilla tapetum lucidum because I'm bored and assumed there would be cool pictures of scary-eyed chins (none!!) and wikipedia came up with this picture!! Not a chin, but way scarier haha!!

That's a pretty cute picture though. Handbag looks like he's about to pounce and Mudslide is blissfully unaware.

Mudslide looks adorable! I think he's sad he doesn't have me to give him a smooch! OR he's sad Handbag isn't giving him a smooch! lol!
