Getting a hedgehog for vday.

My boyfriend has offered to buy me a hedgehog that was up for adoption on craigslist. I was wondering, since I am the one adopting it, what all do I need to ask about the hedgehog?

I've got this list so far:
Cost: 175
Accessories: Plastic Tuberware home and accessories except for wheel.
Temperament: No answer yet
Foodstuffs: Comes with his foodstuffs.
Color: Salt n Pepper

I'd ask:
- What kind of food is hedgie eating currently? This will let you know if it's something you should keep feeding him or if you need to transition to higher quality.
- Any ongoing health or behavior concerns?
- Is hedgie registered with the International Hedgehog Registry (http://hedgehogregistry.org/)? Hedgie doesn't need to be, it just gives you a bit of a clue about hedgie's background.
- Where did hedgie come from originally? Gives you more information about hedgie's background. Knowing a bit about his background can clue you into what you might expect health-wise.
- What type of substrate is hedgie using? Aspen? Pine? Carefresh? Cage liners made out of fleece?
- Water in a bottle or bowl?

A true "salt-n-pepper" hedgie is really hard to come by. I'm going to guess that the seller might not be fully informed about the hedgie.
