Genius!- maybe

So Chilli is fighting the CC, which is not unusual. I however, have been late to work a few days and an anti rodent supervisor has let me know it is not acceptable. So I was thinking tonight, what if I mixed it up, put it in the syringe and dollop a little bit in rows on a cookie sheet, flatten and bake. Can we say Chilli scarfed his new "cookies"?! We are only supposed to hand feed in the morning, so I can give him his new cookies for breakfast and get dressed while I do it. I made 3 teaspoons worth, so that should be two mornings worth. I will make some more tomorrow night if it goes well so my inlaws can give them to him while we are gone.

Yummy! We'll have to make some of those. I would worry about the loss of moisture and probiotics that way, though. Make sure Chili drinks enough to compensate and gets some acidophilus. I know when that critical care stuff even dries a bit it is a fibrous clogging substance....need lots of water to wash it down!

I am brewing up a batch of weak chamomile tea to mix in his antibiotics. He really likes that. He scarfed down his cookies this morning. YAY! That was twice as much food as I had been able to get him to eat handfeeding him. I am just happy I found a solution that I can feel comfortable asking the inlaws to do while we are gone. I think he would hold where he is without the handfeeding, but I really want to see another 20 grams on him.
