Fur biting

As some of you no i rescued a Mom and baby chin.
I noticed when i first got her she had looks of fur chewing.
Today i think i saw her baby like chewing on her fur is this normal
for a baby to do this.In the photo this is how her back area looks

Oh, yes, she definitely has a lot of fur chewing going on there.

How old is the baby? Other chins sometimes do bite the fur off of their cagemates. But, sometimes they're also just cleaning one another. It will look like the chin is biting the other chin but they're just grooming.

Well im not sure the age where i got them there was 8 chins in one cage all fur chewers

Josh this mama chin went through quite a bit of stress. She had babies, was starved and saw some of her cage mates die and I believe she had some of her babies die too. I'm hoping with lots of love and a less stressful home now she will stop her fur chewing.

I agree with the above post. I have a guy who was chewing his fur for a lot of reasons, he quickly grew out of it when he came here and was getting the love and care he needed.

i mean since i rescued her i got her a new big cage toys food water it seems she slowed the fur chewing
