funny sound coming from stomach

Has anyone ever heard a funny swishing sound coming from their chins stomach? I had zippy out tonight running around this room, and he is stretching and a weird sound is coming from his stomach, almost like a growling sound. Almost 1 year ago, he had GI statis, so I know what that is all about. I have never heard this sound before, not even when he was sick last year. He seems very energetic, wants to run around, eating and pooping okay. I gave him some mylicon and alittle of critical care. What else should I do?

He may be having a similar problem to last year. Give him lots of mylicon and be sure he is eating and drinking plenty. Take him to the vet for x-rays.

Make sure that you allow him to have playtime where he can move and jump and wiggle do all the little chinnie things he likes to do. The exercise and freedom of movement will help with gas problems and help promote proper gut motility. And, it will make him happy to be out for a bit. Happy chins seem to make it through any little rough patches in their health a little better than the angry or upset ones.
