Hokai, so, when I got Rodya and Sonya, they came to me in a very small cage with a wire bottom. They had been there for at least 3 years, but probably 7 (if they're that old--breeder/previous owner wasn't sure). Here is a picture of the cage with my hand next to it because apparently I don't own a ruler.

To compare, this is where the cage is--on top of Mork's cage, which is like 4 feet tall. You can see the difference in size there. (Sonya is in a cage exactly the same size as Mork's-the doors and bottom are different, that's all).

I labeled them ^_^

So, finally, here's my question: I'm going to put two pics below, of Rodya's and Sonya's feet (respectively), and I'm wondering:
1. This is most likely from their previous cage, correct? Or is it just an age thing?
2. Is or isn't it bumblefoot? (I've looked at pictures, I don't think it is...)
3. Is there something I can do to make the flat 'flippers' on the side of their feet go away? Lotion? A really really soft nail file?
4. Is it going to go away?
and most importantly,
5. Is it painful for them?

(I'm in a silly mood, sorry. Haha.)

I don't know if that's normal or not... Tia's feet look like that, except more pink.

Are Rodya or Sonya fixed? I would feel nervous about keeping them together like that...

They are separated currently, Rodya is with their son, Ivan, in the small cage. Rodya will be getting fixed once I have a recovery cage for him. Then he and Sonya can be together again :)

The feet don't look all that weird to me, perhaps a bit extra dry but nothing too horrible. You could try bag balm, just rub it on there to moisturize the and eventually the callous should not look quite so bad.

Oh yeah, I remember reading about that... it's not that I doubt your capabilities in chin-care or anything like that, that's not what I meant when I said that, I just... breeding scares me, from all the horror stories I've read here. I am fairly certain that, even if I had an accidental litter, I'd probably FREAK. lulz.
