I found some food to add to Sonic's Buffalo Blue (Which he does well on) I heard Royal Canin is good. I got some of the Indoor Light 40. It is high in protein low in fat.

Is this the right kind? I was a mess last night trying to decide which was best!

So to mix it, I just add I little bit to his food each time? Until they are even? Like I'm changing but then stop midway?

EDIT: Can you have to high of protein? It's like 40%...

Whoops I forgot the word "it" in my above post....

And yes you add it in slowly, I would add it in over a couple of weeks until it is half and half.
I'm not sure if they can have too much protein...I worry more about the fat (especially for my chubby guy). Is you hedgie a big wheeler? How active is he? I used both the Royal Canin Indoor Light 40 and the Kitten formula for my hoglets, but they were growing babies. My adult hedgies get a mix a several foods. My opinion is that variety of good wholsome foods is key :) My hogs like to pick out different foods each night, they like to change it up! lol

He's not a big wheeler due to that his wheel hasn't come in yet. It's been horrible to get it in. Wrong address and such. We hope to get it here soon, but for the time being he gets out at night, and is very active during the night.
