Food choices?

Hello,
I know alot of hedgie owners feed their hedgies cat food, which i know is pretty common but i heard cat food can cause fatty liver diesese, even if its a good cat food, but i also heard that most hedgehog food isnt very good for them either, so im not sure what the best choice is, i feed my other animals the best possible food that is available so i want to do the same for my hedgie..
so im wondering what do you think is the best choice??

Fatty liver disease is not nearly as common as it used to be. Over a decade ago we were told to feed our hedgehogs regular cat food and kitten foods. These are entirely too high in fat and exercise wheels were not common. Hedgehogs became obese and got fatty liver disease.

If you pick a high quality, low fat cat food you will be fine. Also watch the protein content, too high and they can have problems.

If you look at hedgehog foods, you'll notice most are made of crap ingredients. Some are just chocked full of fillers.
