FN 142 ($156) Petsmart price matches kennelvet.com ad

A member asked me to post my experience with Petsmart's stores' price matching kennelvet.com's online ad. I also posted this in another members thread -

I have over 20 Petsmart's within 20 miles from where I live. The first FN142 I purchased was back in July and the second one I bought last Saturday. Both times I had to call about 4 stores as a couple did not have any in stock in their store, but all of the Petsmart's that I called price matched the kennelvet ad. Click on the link below, print and take to the store. I suggest you call first and ask if they price match and take down the name of the person you talked to. I paid $156.35 plus tax, total came to $167.29. Good luck.

Sorry, I don't work at Petsmart, I just happen to live in an area that has lot of 'em. Maybe you can call a few stores close to you and ask the store manager.

yeah i didn't think you worked at petsmart just because you were shopping for them maybe you would know. The guy said they get shipments monday wednesday friday, but then another girl said they don't get em' often so i was confused.

Oh yes, I got conflicting stories as well when I called to see if they had one at their store. The first person at one store responded that they have "alot of ferrets cages and even birds cages, just come on in and I'm sure you'll find one!"

'sure you'll find one but might not be the one you want because i'm to lazy to go look or check into it for you' is more like it, lol.

i had the idiots argue with me that they didnt carry the cage but yet there was a sticker on the shelf...!! DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i had to drive an hour away but i got my second cage!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOO HAPPY it was the only one that had so put it on hold and rushed over there before work.. now i dont need anymore but id like to have 1 more for back up more than anything id like to get my girls out of that really tall cage it scares me

My Petsmart (Jacksonville, FL) pricematched ferret.com's price last year. I had to take in a printout of the website showing the same model number and the price. Be sure to speak with a manager, though, and get a name. It seems to be up to the individual store.

Susan, which petsmart did you go to? I have tried a few and none of them were willing. Apparently I am going to the wrong ones.

It was the one on Southside. But it was about a year ago, so they may have changed their policy.

the one about 30 minutes from me would price match but they havent had any in the one rite past them didnt have one in stock but told me the cage was 229 and not on sale...bull.... and they didnt price match so i drove an hour to the only store that had one local and would price match which was hattiesburg, ms
