I finally got my hands on real camera instead of the camera phone I was using. So now I have some nice pictures of Maddie. Although it's hard to capture the real beauty of chin :)

Anyway the 1st one is my favorite. And she is a bit rough looking cuz she didn't get a bath until AFTER I took the pictures (smart, I know :duh:)

Don't worry anyone, I DO have a wheel, I just took it out so I could get pictures. Also I'm getting a fleece house in the mail soon which will be hanging where the 2nd level is. I'm so excited!!

Very pretty chin :)
Id take the ramps out though since they can hurt her (break her legs if they get stuck) and they can jump really high anyway
After i took my ramps out my chinny seemed a million times happier hopping everywhere

She is gorgeous!! What a pretty face!!
I have a wire bottomed cage as well, I would recommend putting down a few ceramic tiles or grass mat for her to rest her feets on. I did that for my boy and he loves to sit on his tiles! Oh and I agree she doesn't need the ramps. :)

Would fleece be okay? That's what I was hoping to do.

Thanks! And thatnks for the advice about the ramps too! I appriciate it. I knew she could jump high I just didn't want her to fall and get hurt.

Very cute pics - she's beautiful!

With regard to the ramps - when you take them out, you can get some more wooden shelves/perches and put them at intermediate levels between the main platforms. They can definitely make the jumps as is, but they love having lots of things to hop around on.

I have that cage and replaced the wire shelves with wood shelves with hooks to hang on the bars, it has worked very well for the past 2 years. Although my boy likes to pee on his ceramic tiles.... >.>
I also got an extra piece of wood to put at the bottom of the cage underneith the bars at the bottom but on top of the wire part. so the wire bottom wouldn't be so bouncy when he jumped on it.

Also, becareful when you collapse it if you ever do, the bars next to where the sides clip on can break, one of mine did.

Thanks everyone! I actually changed the setup again. She has her fleece hanging bed, a new hay tube, her wheel (that she doesn't even use except to poop on....a granite slab, another perch, and a nice new chewing block. :) I love her too much

Very cute chin!

I have that exact same cage and our chin has no problem jumping to the shelves without the ramps.

Just a warning though... our bars keep breaking when we attach wooden shelves. So keep an eye out cause our chin can squeeze through the gap and get out.

Can anyone tell me what color she is? I thought she was a standard grey but her top is basically black, then her sides are grey and then her tummy is white. So now I'm confused...
