After hunting CL for months I finally broke down and bought a 142 off amazon. I thought that they were no longer available, but I guess there are a few left. Mine arrived today, and it is infact the 142, not the new 182 model. Just thought I'd pass the info along incase anyone else had been trying to get one.

Perhaps it's a good thing that I had to stay home sick today. The UPS driver is my hero for carrying the cage up to the 3rd floor. You rock UPS man :thumbsup:

I just mentioned this to someone else here last week that Amazon still had them but getting one of of CL would have been better if you had found 1 before you needed it .

I think I saw your post, and that's what prompted me to get it :thumbsup:. Cheaper would have been better, but cest la vie. I'm going to bring 1/2 of it to Paul's and set Gus up with a 141 (buh-bye p.i.t.a. martin's cage) It'll help Gus adjust better when we move next May. He's such a spazz that he'll need the familiarity.

I say order a new one. I got one new and one off of CL. I regretted my CL purchase because it was super dirty and didn't seem to fit together well. In retrospect, I should have paid a little more and not dealt with the hassle.

Lucky you found one Brit! Which vendor was it under? When I was ordering on Amazon just a couple weeks ago, I had a few of them refund me my money after I put in an order because Midwest wouldn't allow them to ship them out since the model was being discontinued. Maybe I was just unlucky... lol. Cindy, I would totally order one now! Might as well just get a new one and spoil the new ones hehe.

I put my carrier in the car to take Artie home with me this weekend. I totally forgot to get you photos of Button over the weekend...it was madness. I will get you some photos of Artie when I get to my mom's tonight.

I also vote that you get a new one. That way, you'll get it sooner and you can start setting it up and decorating it ahead of time.
