My chin Powder is about finished with his 10-day run of metronidazole for giardia, and since starting the medication, his poop has varied from long, well shaped, dark, shiny and mucousy, to tiny, barely there, hard bits with dried mucous bubbles. He just goes back and forth between the two. Is this normal?
Or is this a sign that the current medication is doing pretty much zip for the giardia??
