It makes sense to me that less people are going into the water which means fewer shark attacks of course, but it still pains me to see sharks being known as "man-eaters" (in general, not in that article).

I just think that more people need to realize that it's not the sharks invading us- we're invading them. An ocean is a wilderness just like a rainforest. The ocean is the shark's territory, not ours.

I get looked at like I'm nuts when I tell people I don't go into lakes or the ocean. I don't want sharks, jelly fish, snake head fish or snapping turtles in my living room, so I stay the frell outta theirs.
