I just noticed today that in the corner of my chins left eye there was a milky white substance. Not alot just enough that it looks watery. Is there something wrong with his eye!?!

Chins can get "sleep" in their eyes just like people do. Did you dust today?

I did actually! Oh wait, you weren't talking to me were you?

I concur with Ms. Tunes though, sometimes when you dust they get a little gunk build up, wipe it out and you're good to go.

my boys get little sleep gunkies in the corners of their eyes on occasion. as said, nothing to worry about, and it is more prominent after dusting.

if there is discharge or wetness around the eye, that is when i'd be concerned.

If you didn't dust today and you notice your chin's eye watering you can clear it out with a saline wash and see if it goes away. Sometimes chins will get a piece of hay or dust in their eye and it gets irritated just like humans get eye irritants. If it doesn't clear up on it's own or with a saline wash, make a vet appointment and get him in to have it checked for an eye infection or a scrape to the eye
