Hi everyone. This is my first post. Sorry for being so frantic.

So right now, my Chin (Olive) has what appears to be a bit of bone sticking out from her arm.

I've called numerous vets, and the only places that are currently open do not have anyone to take care of exotic pets.

My girlfriend currently has the wound wrapped in gauze. Olive isn't crying, but there appears to be some blood on her hand.

I'm not sure what I should do.

I greatly appreciate any and all help and suggestions!

Thank you,
Paul (posting for Khrystina)

Sorry it took so long to get this approved. If she hasn't been seen by a vet yet, she needs to. Amputation is most likely the best treatment, and chins do very well with it. You more than likely will be in for some hand feeding as well, so definitely look up on it.

Vet ASAP. Amputation would be the best option as chins do just fine with missing paws or limbs and it doesn't seem to inhibit them. Splints/casts often cause more difficulty and lengthened recovery times and many times, it does not heal properly. Good luck!
