Ebby is another one of Monty's Manor's larger-than-life characters& is a bit of a miracle chin. Bred by a good friend of mine, Ebby is a full ebony - she decided not to breed for my friend (in fact, she hates other chins) so she 'retired' with me. She is stunning but also a real character - she comes to the events & just sits placidly in my arms while she soaks up the adoration of her subjects (us humans).
She currently lives in a wooden framed cage with underfloor heated nest box.
Back in June 2008 she became septic with pyometra (full story here) & she was not really expected to survive. My vet was superb & carried out a spay even though Ebby was so ill - post-op care was difficult & a roller coaster journey.

In her heated next box (there is a small reptile heat mat under the box which gives a small spot of warmth for her).
