So I used to work for Coach and it was a BAD place for me to work because I spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money. Anyway, I have been selling a few Coach items here and there that I don't use anymore. I sell the items on Ebay, here is one of my listings - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330399430909 what annoys me is the feedback I got from the person that purchased it -

"I didn't know this product was used. However, I do love it, just paid too much"

yes she gave me positive feedback so it isn't really like it effects me in a big way but come on!! It's not my fault you CAN'T READ the item is clearly listed as pre-owned!! And she got it for $20!? That really isn't a bad price for a Coach item! The bag was very clean, no marks or stains. Only problem was fraying on the outside which I mentioned and can be seen in the pic. Also, I didn't set the price, people bid! So if she feels like she paid too much that is her own fault for going up that high. Did she really think she was getting a brand new Coach cosmetic bag for $20!? I just feel like it is unfair that she wrote this feedback since it reflects on me as a seller.

Am I just being too sensitive/dramaic or would this feedback annoy you to?

It happens. I sold a broken TI-89 Calculator for $5.99 including shipping to a person on there and they left me negative feedback because it had initials carved into the inside of the battery cover. Are you kidding me, $5.99 for a $200 calculator? It cost me over $4 to ship it and then after fees, I was in the hole. It still worked, but the screen was cracked. I surely wouldn't complain!

Clearly the person is not too bright, the listing is very clear. It would annoy me too.

I know I was selling my PS2 system on ebay and I had it for local pickup only. Well the lady paid for it and everything and I emailed her (more than once) about when she wanted to pick it up and where to meet for a location. She lived in Wisconsin so I thought it was fishy in the first place, but I figured maybe she is visiting around the area or something. Well after numerous attempts to get ahold of her she finally files a dispute with me on paypal since I "didn't ship her item" Really?! I clearly stated in my description that it was "local pick up only" *shakes head*
I refunded her money and we got everything worked out but some people on ebay...

Some people are just idiots. I was helping my last bf sell some of his old toys on ebay and one of the things was a tonka truck, like the old metal ones. And this wasn't exactly a collector's item, like it was scratched up, some paint missing, I mean clearly been played with. And I listed that and the photos showed that it was knicked and stuff... I even said something to the effect of "this is just a toy, not meant as a collector's item because of its condition." Yeah, so the buyer, who bought it for $3 mind you, left me negative feedback saying she thought it would be in better shape? Based on... what, exactly? It said the tonka truck had been played with, and she got it for $3, not like the ton of money it would have been worth had it been flawless..... but some people are just idiots.

I used ebay a few years ago and while some people love it, I personally got fed up with it due to the same issue you are mentioning plus a few more.

My husband sold a pair of rare oakley sunglasses. He put on the selling ad that the nose piece was loose and would need to get tightened... Well, this chick bought them and I waited for TWO weeks for a payment! I had tried to contact her numerous times... Then she finally paid and I shipped it out. Her feedback was neutral and said that we should have been more specific about the nose piece... Are you kidding me??? We wrote it would need to be tightened! DUHR!
