Eating loose fur

I couldn’t find anything from Google about it so I wanted to ask here. I’ve noticed any time my chin slips some fur she’ll end up eating it. Is this normal?

Is she actually consuming it or just pulling on it?

She doesn’t pull her own fur out. Just any time it does fall out she eats it

It's pretty common, it's not good for them though it can cause hair balls so try to not let her if you can. My best guess is it's an instinctive survival strategy, eat up any fur slips so predators don't find them and sniff them out.
