Ear Biting

Found a scab on Rocco (Age 3)'s ear where it looks like Furby (2) bit him. It's a small red mark with a little bit of dried blood. What should I do as far as cleaning the wound? Also, should I go ahead and separate the boys?

If they don't appear to be fighting, I wouldn't see the need to seperate. He may have scratched his ear somehow. If there is fur slip or chasing it may be neccesary.
